A Just Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative for Pennsylvania
This research was conducted through my Research Methods & Civic Engagement class for community partners and the PA Department of Environmental Protection's (DEP), Office of Environmental Justice. Our research focused on the climate equity implications of PA’s entrance into the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) and sought to document past injustices, community air quality concerns, and innovations in using emissions trading revenue to target air pollution reduction in environmental injustice communities.
